museum's exhibitions
We are specialist for German history of the 20th century and can realise exhibitions on all events of the contempary history of this period in a very short space of time, as we can fall back on our own existing fund of original documents and objects. So two years of developing an own exhibition will shrink down to a few month, in same cases to less than one month.
Direct available are the follwing exhibitions, that allready have been shown successfully:
- History of the German post WW2 period 1945 - 1955.
On this subject we owe around 3.500 objects and documents, with which we can furnish exhibitions with a minimum space of 150 sqm up to 800 sqm.
This exhibition is a combination of life-sized scenes with puppets in original dresses, show cases and wall boards.
Depending on the space, we install the following scenes:
a) a black market scene on a street, containing 3 puppets, a cart, a bicycle, advertising pillar with posters of the Allied Government, bombed down and burned wooden beams and house rubble and around 300 - 500 parts of original black market ware.
Added to it is a view in a living room of refugees with a puppet standing on a small emergency kitchen-stove. The complete scene is about 8 x4m.
An other installation is a complete office of an US Military Government office with a puppet wearing the original uniform of a US Military Government member together with a German supporting policeman in private dress with arm-sleeve 'MG-Police'.
Futhermore, we show a big pile of original war trash as ressources of the re-start of the German industry, a air-raid shelter, the remaining trauma of the German people, a children canoe of a Mustang long-distance tanc with puppet, a pupils feeding scene with 2 puppets and an original field kitchen that was used in the school of Kelkheim, a 50kg US bomb, dropped on Hanau, explainig the problem of acricultural productions because of many duds in the fields, the German currency reformation, shown with an original store, money and substitue money.
Other subjects are de-nazification, the Berlin Air-Lift, Prisoners of War, Displaced Persons and fashion.
Also, there is a documentation on the following of Jews during the Third Reich, as this had much influence on the treating of the Germans by the Military Government after war.
The exhibition was shown several times since 1994. Many newspaper, broadcast and tv reported on it.

Anti-Semitism and following of Jews in the 3rd Reich
We owe around 300 original documents and a few objects on this theme. As an installation, we can supply a life-size dummy of a Concentration Camp electric loaded barbed wire fence.
This exhibition was shown together with installations on forced labour in the city museum of Hofheim on around 200 sqm. Many newspaper reported on it.

Forced labour in the Third Reich
On this field, we owe around 160 original objects and documents. With it are the installations of two Russian POWs pulling a plug, that is operated by a French POW. All in genuine clothing. An other installation shows a French POW in his sleeping place in the barn, as it was forbidden, that forced labourers live in the farmhouses with the farmes's family.
This exhibition explaines the total use of the working power of the people of the in WW2 by the Germans occupied countries. It shows the different treating of the forced labour victims, depending on the country, they came from.
This created living situations for the victems, that in some cases were not much different than the conditions in Concentration Camps. So it is consequent, that the exhibition also shows slave workers of the Concentration Camps, in which people were used only that long, until their working power went so much down by malnutrition and mistreating, that it did no longer allow profit for the SS camp organisation.
The exhibition was shown in the City Museum of Hofheim. Many newspaper reported on it.

The planed death - the nature of the Concentration Camps
We owe around 400 original objects on this subject, that require around 3 - 4sqm showcase space.
With it are 13 show boards in the size 80x60cm. Additional, we can offer 4 installations, that need around 15 sqm.
This exhibition explaines, which different groups were followed in the Third Reich and the reasons, why they were followed. So, following of Jews is an important theme, but also the following of political parties, of Christs, homosexuals, free masons, Sinti and Roma, Jehova Witnesses and 'bolschewics'.
The exhibition was shown on the 70th anniversary of the freeing of the Buchenwald Concentration Camp. Newspapers and the Hesse TV reported on it.

Fashion, lifestyle and labour - a comparison between the 1950th and the 1970th
We owe around 700 objects and documents on this subject, that will need around 2 sqm showcase space. But central items are installations on office work and fashion, that will need around 150 - 200 sqm. Concerning the office work, it shows the developement from mechanic to computer operated office tools.
All puppets are dressed with original clothes of the concerning periods. One installation shows a 1960th/70th rock band with original instruments of that time.
The exhibition was allready shown and newspapers reported on it.
